BONED BODICE:
* Beautiful embroidery around the collar & down the center front.
* The center front is embellished with velvet in a green-brown color, plus pale aqua fabric as accent.
* 16 hook & eye closures down the front, plus 2 at the stand-up collar.
* Long, set-in sleeves with gathers at sleeve caps.
* The sleeve cuffs are also embellished with the same embroidery; two hooks & fabric loops for closure at each wrist.
* The back of the bodice has knotted embellishment of the embroidered fabric. It caps a 2-piece 36" long "tails" that trail from the back of the bodice.
* The interior of the bodice is lined, but there is significant deterioration of that fabric.
* The interior lining is solid cream color, but has "bunching" of a cream & striped fabric (to enhance the breasts? to absorb sweat?).
* 13 stays: 3 at the center back, 3 at each side and 2 at each center front.
* The front of the bodice ends at a point and measures 16" from the bottom of the front collar to the end of the point.
* The interior waist has a 23.5" (1.25" width) grossgrain ribbon w/ 2 hooks & eyes. The back center of the ribbon also has an eye loop, presumably to hook to the skirt.
* Underarm stains & discoloration. The right sleeve cap has moth holes.

Approximate measurements of the bodice:
Armpit to armpit, across the front, laid flat = 15"
So, bust = 30"
Length down the back center, top of collar to bottom hem = 15"
Shoulder seam to wrist = 23"
Armpit seam to wrist = 16"
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam, across the back, laid flat = 10.5"
Side to side at the waist, across the front, laid flat = 12"
So, waist = 24"

SKIRT:
* The skirt is very full, with multiple folds & tucks.
* Embroidery all along the lower portion of the skirt. Also has a folded & tucked front section.
* Three layers of fabric, one being the lining.
* The bottom edge of the lining at the hemline has multiple pleats & a beige lace overlay.
* 2 hooks & eys are the waist for closure.
* Multiple tucks & pleats of the entire skirt enhances its fullness.
* The back of the skirt has 2 accents strips of velvet, which matches the bodice.
* The skirt is rather heavy due to the multiple layers and the embroidery. This is a true work of art!
* The fabric of the skirt is discolored & stained, with small moth holes throughout.

Approximate measurements of the skirt:
Side to side at the waist, across the front, laid flat = 12"
So, waist = 24"
Length down the back center = 38.5" from the bottom of the 1" waistband
Length down the front center = 39.5"
